We are a grassroots, non-profit organization and depend on the generosity of donors to help us fund our programs and operating budget. You can make a secure online donation on our website, mail a check to our office, give gifts of stock, give through United Way or participate in your company’s matching gift program. You can also give a gift in memory of someone to honor a person for a special occasion. We will send a special note to the person being honored or to a family member for a memorial donation.

Memorial, Tribute, and Special Occasion Gifts

You can give a gift in memory of a loved one, in honor of someone, or for a special occasion (birthday, wedding, Christmas, etc.). We will send a special note to the person being honored or to a family member for a memorial donation. Just include the name and address and occasion of the gift with your donation.

HBA’s Annual Angel Tree Program to serve our community members in need.

Stock Gifts

Several advantages to contributing stock are:

  • you can contribute highly appreciated shares to HBA without either party paying capital gains on those shares
  • you get to write off the full current value of these shares
  • HBA does not pay capital gains tax when we sell the appreciated shares

For information on making a stock gift, contact Tyler Berry IV, Senior Vice President at Wunderlich Securities, at 615-764-4487 or tylerberry@wundernet.com.
